I am going to the beach next week and I can't decide whether to wear my pump or go MDI for the day. I doubt it will be warm enough for any sunbathing to affect the insulin but I really don't want sand to get anywhere near it! What would you do?

If I do go MDI for the day do I just leave the pump running at home or do I suspend it?

Personally I would take my pump, but I would use the skin I've got for it, then put it in another case (I've got a couple of moblie phone case's and a compact camera case to choose from)

But if you decided to leave your pump at home then I would leave it running, just pop the end onto some tisue then it won't get blocked in the tubing..

Thanks Ellie I think I will take it, I have a little clip-on case I can take it in 🙂
