Still having readings of 13 pre meals
So looking to move up to 16 units
Is this normal .. is 16 units novamux 30 ok ? Twice a day

Hello and welcome to the forum 🙂
Your hubby needs as much insulin as he needs, there's no set amount as we are all different 🙂
Is there any reason why your husband has not been put on a basal bolus system so he counts carbs and adjust his insulin to what he eats?

Hi. If your husband is not overweight and nearer to being LADA/T1 then ask to be swapped to the Basal/Bolus regime with two insulins. If he is T2 and with some excess weight then make sure he is having a low-carb diet to reduce BS rise and the need for so much insulin.
