advice needed on car insurance

when you told your car insurance about your diabetis,did it go up much more. thanks
 
Made no difference to mine when I informed them. When I came to renew I changed comany and got an even better price.

It should not make any difference. I think on the diabetes uk website they have got help and advice on there.

PS I went with the post office for mine if that helps.
 
Insurance companies are not allowed to charge you more for your insurance based on medical conditions as that would amount to discimination.

It would only go up if you made a claim for which your condition was a contributory factor (such as if you had a hypo whilst driving)
