I am new to finger testing and get very tense when I do it, can adrenaline in the blood affect results
All advice welcome

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forum 🙂 Adrenalin can affect blood sugar levels, but not to any discernible effect when finger-pricking. Adrenalin is a hormone that prompts the liver to release extra glucose into the bloodstream, but this is unlikely to be by much, if anything, due to tension over finger pricking, so I wouldn't try to factor it in. Have a read of Painless Pricks, by Alan S, it might help you to make the process easier on yourself 🙂
