Does anyone know if the warranty is for three or four years? What should the hospital do when the warranty is due to expire? Do they have to reapply for funding? Thankyou🙂

I believe the period is four years.

I'm due for a change next February and my DSN has already started talking about it. I don't know how the funding thing works though.

Hi M1dnc thank you for that. I did wonder if it was four years.

Hi , it is four years I was due to have my accu chek combo changed after 4 years in September 2014 and was due to swap to an insight pump but it was about the time they was delaying the start of the insight pump due to some soft ware issues so they offered me a new combo or the choice to extend the warranty of the old combo which I did until I received the insight in February 2015 🙂

Thanks very much Jennywren🙂

My pump alarmed 4 years to the day that the warranty expires (11 April.) I get the insight tomorrow 🙂

Thanks for the information Phil. Have fun with your Insight today🙂
