Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device

Has anyone seen any Accu-Chek Softclix lancing devices for sale? Mine is playing up occasionally so I would like to buy a spare (have loads of the Softclix lancets). The chemists just seem to want to sell you a new meter which usuallly includes a different lancing device and probably uses the latest (more profitable) strips. One even told me to go to a diabetic clinic! I did find one on the internet but it was a staggering $51. Thanks.

Is that the one with the drum of lancets? in which case I might one I'm not using. If it's the one with the single lancet, then unfortunately it's the one I use!


Having said that you seem to be able to get meters from the manufacturers for nowt (I haven't but I've seen people talking about it), so maybe you could just ask your meter mfr of choice for one and get the lancing device that comes with it?

Mine broke and I contacted Accu-chek via their website.

Their website states that it's no longer available.

I sent an e-mail asking for an alternative and was contact on me mobile stating that they'll hapily deliver one.

Giive it a go and they might do the same!
