I went into boots yesterday and picked up the accu-check mobile and took it to the counter,i nearly fell through the floor when i was asked for ?49.99.Has anyone bought one of these or can you get them on prescription.I ended up putting it back on the shelf.

You will be able to get one of these on prescription...not just yet though! I've been trying to get one for a couple of months now but unfortunately haven't managed just yet
You may be able to get one from the diabetes centre at your hospital, I know a couple of people who have been given them. Unfortunately my diabetes centre do not stock this meter Keep me posted if you find out when they become available on prescription. Thanks!🙂
