After reading "HR and People" (a fairy tale) I moved onto Auto Express. One article that caught my eye referenced the above. Despite the PAS1899 accessibility standard launched in 2022 only 450 out of 19,456 on street chargers had adaption for the disabled. Of these only 105 are in disabled parking bays. There is a quote "Disabled people can shout, but people tend to forget all about us when they are planning". I can vouch that all to frequently disabled people are ignored. In fact I found one council employee so disrespectful that had I been in a "face to face" I might have given him a smack!
Personally I think the future for most vehicles is hydrogen whose emissions are water rather than lithium batteries that have end-of-life issues and burn at about 7,000C. In fact I was told the Luton car park fire was caused by an EV and the story about a diesel car was a cover up to avoid adverse publicity.
If I get my licence back I fancy a petrol V8!
