Abbott are spealing out stock replies which now state can be as much as 3 weeks, seems they can't manufacturer enough to match demand. I've asked them some probing questions but just get the stock reply. Demand has gone up no doubt, I've wondered if they are now starting to supply the NHS with stock of which NHS are just sitting on, free sensors have commenced but rare so far if you meet the criterias which are strict. (sensors come from France)
I have two on order now 19 days old and recently ordered another one. We are on our last one, but today I popped into my local chemist for some Corsodyl as I have a poorly tooth and that will be coming out in next few weeks and am not looking forward to that as last year had a wisdom tooth out and fell ill immediately, anyway the staff in chemist know us well and the assistant has DB and we put her onto the sensors and she managed to order a couple from within the UK for the shop, so I bought one there and then for my dad.

I have read elsewhere people are getting them through pharmacies quicker and sometimes cheaper through them. The pharmacies have to open an account and order from Abbott. Also that Abbott have also increased production.

I had a conversation about an order with Abbott. I have supplies to cover a month, so the three week delivery is just enough. I think this is just a blip, they are a big enough company to get themselves sorted.

They’re also a big enough company to pay someone to sort out their crappy website.

I got another two from my local chemist today ! They order from within the UK and delivery in 2 days !? and yes cheaper. Must be from France where Abbott order from, wondering if some company in UK is receiving these in readiness to supply free v NHS for those that have them approved and meet the strict requirements.

From what I have read they are not available from the Pharmacies usual wholesalers that is why they have set up individual accounts with Abbott.
