Abbot Librelink 2 - Tested Phones

I have been running Libre link 2 software on my old Motorola 5s - Android 8 for over a year now and it's pretty good.
I expect I will soon have to replace my phone with a new Android phone and I have my eye on the mid range phones - Motorola Edge Pro and the Samsung A55 or the Samsung S23/24 FE.
Looking at reviews I have seen people saying they have had problems with connecting their phones to the Abbot sensors. Ar there any users of the Abbot CGM had good experience with these particular phones ?
I have looked at the Abbot recommended list of phones and there is only one Motorola recommended A51 and the Samsung list does not show the A55 !! - See attached list.

Nothing beats real world experience and recommendations so would really appreciate any feedback on the Samsung A55 or S23FE and the Motorola Edge Pro.

Many Thanks

Victor

Thankyou for your response, The spec of of the Honour 200 Pro looks impressive/ I know that the Honour make has been available in the UK for a while now but cannot see a single Honour mobile on the Abbot approved list of phones !

Not used any of those phones but I'm currently using a Moto G 31 without any issues.

I very rarely take any notice if those 'compatibility' lists because they quickly go Out of date and all it means is it those are the models the have tested on, not that other s won't work.

In the past I have used Honor phone with Libre.
However, that was when Honor was just a different brand name for Huawei but their relationship has since changed (so they can do business in USA) so I am not sure how technology they share nowadays.

That's the case with libre. With dexcom, if it aint on the list, you won't be able to use the dexcom app - computer says on (you can get a jury rigged version called 'build your own dexcom app' from a random reddit dude)

This - it caught me out and I had to use xDrip+.

If getting a new Android phone for the Libre 2 I'd suggest getting one on the Dexcom list. That way if you ever switch you'll have a phone that can install the app from the Google Play store. If it's on the Dexcom compatibility list it's highly likely I think that the Libre will work. I have an Asus Zenphone model BTW and the Libre 2 app works fine, but it looks like I'll never be able to use the official Dexcom app.

I've just switched to a Sony Xperia 10 III from an iPhone SE2. It's not on your list and relatively old phone but I've found it more reliable than the iPhone so far with the Libre 2. It and the later models are on the Dexcom list as well.
