Well I don't know how I managed that but was testing before tea, pricked, out my finger down and gave a gentle shake goes to my finger with the strip and there's blood running round and down my pinkie 😱 x

It's this week Kaylz - I pulled my old cannula out yesterday and wham, a gusher! It was in my thigh so I was actually sat on the loo (I'd put a new one in that morning and forgotten to later remove the previous one until I saw it when I went to the loo) so that was lucky - plenty of tissue immediately to hand but not until I'd made puddles on the side of the loo seat and the floor, plus the loo roll itself looked like the Texas Chain Saw Massacre had re-run in the bathroom! Needed about 12 layers depth pressed as hard as I could against it, for several minutes to get it to flippin stop.

I've still got the mark of a deep bruise on the tip of my right ring finger that I accidentally stabbed sometime last year and we got a fountain - a tiny black dot, that now looks like a splinter and it's only been a few weeks since the actual bruise itself went.

Luckily - that doesn't happen very often!
