Hello, I've just joined up today! I've had type one for nearly 26 years but on Tuesday I finally, after a long wait and a bit of a fight, got started on pump therapy. It's early days and I'm still getting my basal rate sorted, and I thought I'd register on here as recommended by my new pump buddy, rachelha! Looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully giving and getting some support!

Welcome to the forum Jeanne 🙂 Good to hear that Rachel is spreading the word! Hope you get on well with the pump, let us know if there is any way we can help 🙂 Have you got the book Pumping Insulin by John Walsh? I've heard it is indispensable for pumpers 🙂

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome! Have been feeling a little overwhelmed today by how much i don't know - I've just found out that I can have up to 8 insulin:carb ratios in 24 hours! Will mosey on over to the pump forum and say hello there, too.
