The duck and it's pals have just gone in the oven, the sorbet is ready and the vol au vents just need reheating.

No sprouts here we already have a gale blowing outside. I read on Aunty recently that not liking sprouts is in our DNA, there's something our tastebuds that can make them taste bitter.

I had my version of Buck's Fizz with brekky, orange juice and elderflower press?, he had the real thing. We also had toasted bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Yumm.

Just had some sausage rolls, warm from the oven - I think it's the first time I've had them since diagnosis! I have a choice of Snowballs, Southern Comfort, port, beer and Stolichnaya vodka if I get thirsty :D

hehe cheers Alan 🙂

Pigs in blankets (bacon not pastry). Brandy Highballs before lunch, red wine with dinner, tia maria with cream - my very favourite treat at Christmas, coffee, tea, fruit juice, Morgan's spiced rum and coke, pistachios and halva - stuffed!!
