As someone said a very long time ago - Oscar Wilde? - It is better to travel hopefully ... than to arrive!'

But there again to balance that comparatively recently Terry Pratchett explained how the apparently cheerful farewell message 'May you live in interesting times!' was, in truth, a curse.

Have to say I did think long and hard before casting my Yes vote to join the EEC which then morphed into something far further reaching than the likes of me could have envisaged. On balance overall I did think beforehand and still do, that it was VERY short sighted not to put a minimum margin on the IN/OUT vote.

I just intend to continue to travel hopefully, in the main that my Pensions Trustees also continue to invest its money wisely. If not of course - I will be utterly stuffed.

And me - convincing is, I've always thought, the word that was and still is, entirely missing from the equation.

So the twat that did it - just buggered off. I've never ever felt like using one of my husbands (either of my husbands) shotguns or a massive dose of insulin (which I was told once where to inject for best undetectable effect) but Oooh yes. Proves that I can be sorely tempted so if I were David Cameron in my view he'd best stay clear of my vicinity - not that he'd ever likely to be tempted not to do that anyway of course.

You have to daydream sometimes though don't you?
