Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Reach Our Goal

I've just found out, I have Type 1 Diabetes,
Bang there goes my big stash of sweeties!
I like the IDEA of getting really fit,
But I DON'T like to exercise, not one little bit!

All these fruit and vegetables, are REALLY not my thing,
But I know I have to eat them, if I want to stay as King.
My Beautiful Queen is right, of course, when it comes to this.
"If you don't eat your veg" she says, "I won't give you a kiss".

Now this King LOVES his Queen, with every fibre of his soul,
And working together, as we ALWAYS have, we KNOW we'll reach our goal.
So, "Thank You!" My Queen for EVERYTHING you do, in our unpredictable life,
Just keep bein' who you are, the world's MOST awesome Wife!

I Love You Gorgeous Goddess! X!

Lovely.

Lovely poem. I hope you and your wife find some kind of exercise you can both enjoy. Yes, I do realise the potential for inuendo, but all exercise is good. Walking or cycling instead of driving or using public transport to get to work (part or all the way) or to an interesting destination, for example
