Do you have Type 2 diabetes and have you had or currently have a diabetes-related foot ulcer?

The Leicester Diabetes Centre is looking for individuals with Type 2 Diabetes who are currently living with a diabetes-related foot ulcer, or have experienced one in the last five years, to take part in the MiFoot Randomised Control Trial (MiFoot RCT) [https://www.mifoot.org.uk/].

The MiFoot Randomised Control Trial is a research study that will test a programme designed to improve heart health in people with diabetes and diabetes-related foot ulcers. The MiFoot programme aims to help people to better manage their condition, receive the most up to date care and be more physically active.

The MiFoot programme will include a one-to-one session with a health care professional, group-based education and physical activity sessions, and access to an online platform designed to help people manage their health and make changes to improve their health.

If you would like to know more about the study, please get in touch and speak to the MiFoot study team via email MiFoot@uhl-tr.nhs.uk or telephone call 0116 258 4384.
