Hello,
I'm off to Thailand soon and hoping to do a bit of diving. I've been Padi open water certified for around 7 years and go recreational diving when on my hols.
I had the annual medical last night to obtain a fit to dive certificate and all's ok there.
My Qu is, does anyone take a form of sugar under with them? I do so every dive just incase but the tablets always get wet even if wrapped in cling film.
Is there a water tight unit that might help on this. Chomping on salty sugar tabs doesn't appeal (unless obv the need called). Or does anyone take gel sachets instead?
thanks,
Simon

Gel sachets are definitely the best solution for eating in / under water, plus easy to stick under a watch strap, for example. Hypo Fit sachets (13.4g CHO in 18g sachet) are smaller than most energy gel sachets (eg High5 23g CHO in 38g sachet).
