hi not sure at mo me lad was under a phycologist at local hospital but she is only there once a month so was refered hes havin a lot of anxiety probs

Hope it goes well 🙂. CAMHS is the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, providing psychology support for young people. Being diagnosed with type 1 is a massive upheaval for a teenager, so it's great he's getting support for his anxiety. He may find it helpful to meet other teens with type 1 - does your hospital have a family support group?

Think it might be CAMS which is Child and Adolesant(sp?) Mental health Support. My little feller has been refered to that because he has Autism Spectrum Disorder and anxiety issues. They give help and support to children and teenagers (and young adults I think) support and advice and startegies for coping with life issues.
