Having had a lovely day at our eldest sons with his wife and our two gorgeous granddaughters we are home and catching up, so I would like to wish all here a very happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year.
Today I decided not to be diabetic but just enjoyed all that was on offer, a great Christmas dinner and dessert and a few snacks in between. I was driving so just a glass of prosecco but even after all that when I tested a couple of hours ago I was only 7.5, so quite pleased.
Thanks to all who have offered advice and support since I was diagnosed back in September and here’s to another year of friendship and camaraderie.

Happy Christmas Flakie, glad to hear you had a good day! 🙂 And the Diabetes Fairy has been kind to you, I see 🙂
