So given my recent problems with dropping after breakfast I didn't feel at all safe taking the 3 units for my breakfast this morning when I woke to a 5.5, so I only took 2.5 units, tested at 2 hours and was sitting at 5.0 thought right here we go this is going to be a disaster at 4 hours when I test for lunch so as I do when I'm nervous I cover the screen with my hand (weird I know lol) move it a little to see the in range green line completely reveal the result and it's a 5.9 🙂 x

RESULT 🙂🙂🙂

Woohoo result!!!

Yep looks like that's my breakfast ratio needing changed too, phoned the DSN's today to discuss the matter but haven't heard back as of yet :( x

As you become more experienced and more confident you'll be able to change your ratios confidently without discussing it with your DSN. Although you do seem to have cracked it!

My ratios change regularly so don't be too concerned if you need to tweak it every now and again. Especially now the weather is getting warmer. I found last year that the warmer it was the more my insulin sensitivity increased although for some people it goes the other way. Diabetes is so fun, eh?🙄🙄

Yeah I did feel confident in changing it myself this time 🙂 but was a kinda needing a bit of reassurance and keeping them in the loop kinda thing too haha, she agreed when she phoned to change to a 1:12 ratio and that I'd done the right thing so all good, yeah indeed very fun 🙄 lol it's a game I'd rather not play if I was given the option though haha :D xx

Seems like you've cracked it 🙂
Hopefully Lucy, been jabbing with the 3 and eating breakfast like an animal for ages lol, given how I didn't know how I'd react I gave the insulin 5 minutes before starting today, felt great haha x
