Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi,
Just thought I’d add a small note to say hello. I have been type 2 for 16 years without too much drama until recent complications were discovered. Current events prompted me to join and register, and hopefully learn a few things and share some experiences.....So...hello.

Hello and welcome 🙂

Thank you Christy and Orphy54 - good to meet you. Everyone seems friendly and supportive and welcoming.
Christy - well done with the weight loss, that’s such a great achievement.

Hi Philip-Raine, welcome to the forum.

Glad that you've found us and hope that you can get the support you need. Is there anything in particular that we can help with?

It might be useful to share a bit more about yourself and your goals to keep track along this journey. We've got a wealth of info on the site so feel free to have a poke around and ask as many questions as you like.

Welcome to the forum @Philip-Raine

Well done for all those undramatic years - that’s quite an achievement! How have you been managing your diabetes over that time? Do you currently take any medications to help your blood glucose management?

Sorry to hear you’ve seen some changes recently. We have a number of members here with quite a few years of diabetes under their belts who are managing a number of associated conditions and/or complications.

If you feel comfortable doing so, feel free to share the challenges you are facing, so that other members can offer their experiences, hints and tips.
