Good results from my pump clinic today, HbA1c 48 mmol/mol - I’ll happily take that! Blood pressure, cholesterol etc all ok, kidney function damaged but stable. Told I give myself a very hard time and should be really pleased with my hard effort paying off. I still find it really difficult to accept I’m ever doing well enough .
There was some really useful information on the notice boards about Time in Range and how to use bg targets and TIR to reduce your HbA1c if needed. I find TIR a really useful way to keep myself on track. Whilst reading the advice I spotted a photo of @everydayupsanddowns on the noticeboard in a line up of people presenting the Libre education programme!
Once again thank you so much for the support and advice on here , pre bolusing, Time in Range all really useful tools for flattening out spikes, improving HbA1c and feeling more in control. 🙂
