Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Just been told I am type 2. Awaiting the pack from this site and discussion arranged by doctor for 26th Feb.
Spent most of the day looking (via the net) into what it all entails.
2018 has not been a good year! Had a spinal operation for spinal stenosis (did not work), now registered diabled. Gave up smoking in 2017 prior to operation, now have "normal" lungs for a 70 odd year old! Nurse well pleased as blood pressure is well down and cholestral fairly low.
Looking on the bright side, I have a fantastic wife who has looked after me for the last 51 years and hopefully for some time to come yet.
Life on the south coast is brilliant, warm and flat! Brought up in Derbyshire, which we still visit, but joined the Royal Navy at 18 and never looked back.
Look forward to reading the threads here and hopefully helping others.

Welcome Hayling47. It is nice down there. Health unlocked is from that area, on the web. Pls look after your self & I can tell your wife is doing a good job 😉

Welcome to the forum Hayling from a fellow T2.
