Went into Cooplands this morning for my usual half a roll with bacon and mushroom (Tuesday breakfast!) and discovered they are doing toffee apple muffins!!! Well as it's seasonal thing I thought it would be rude not to try the 550 calories worth of muffin. Duly ate it this afternoon (yum yum!) then decided had to walk it off by doing 10k steps in the rain. Bloods ok at 5.7 after the walk. Worth 10k steps in the rain? Nah, but it had to be tested 🙂

Onto the subject of walking in the rain, got caught by an unexpected shower the other day. Here I am modelling my haut couture hat fashioned from a mercifully empty poo bag. I may look like the village idiot but I am a dry village idiot!

Very stylish!

It’s AFTER a good heavy rain shower, or snow storm in winter, that I like to take a walk: all the positive ions in the atmosphere have been cleared; a fresh load of negative ions that replaced them is SO wonderfully clean & pure like you get beside a waterfall! 😛

I once told my nephew this, he was 10 at the time, & he said if someone invented a machine to collect all the negative ions beside a waterfall & bottled them for sale they’d make a fortune!:D
