See the title, laugh out loud. That’s where I’m at.
Back to the serious.
I don’t want to eat.
It hurts to eat.
All Metaformin does is ensure I can run the minute mile to the nearest toilet.

If you having trouble tolerating it then you need to discuss who ever prescribed it for you!

Are you on modified (slow) release? They are kinder on the bowels

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulties @Deliverance - but glad you are keeping your sense of humour :D

Have you been diagnosed for long? And how long have you been taking the Metformin?

As @adrian1der says, there is a slow release version that can be kinder on the tum - though many members over the years have found that metfartin’s gastric upheaval subsides after a few weeks.

I believe it can also help to take the metformin along with a fairly substantial meal, but one which only has a limited carbohydrate content.

Hope it settles down for you soon.
