72 hour blood glucose monitoring

I had been put forward for this. Forgoten about it, and had an appointment come through for it.

I need to go in tuesday 20th.
Has anyone had this before? and willing to share experiences?

I had it around 18 months ago. I found it really useful, it ruled some things out and confirmed some other things. I had the one where you can't see the results in real time, but downloaded afterwards to review.

I found by the 3rd day the dressing started to get a bit itchy, but perfectly bearable. The one I had you needed a special bag to put the monitor in for having a shower.

Is it kinda like a mini pump in respect of what it looks like, how its attached?
Because i really cant remember what my nurse told me about it.
