60th Birthday Meal

Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
It was my 60th yesterday, went out to a lovely restaurant on the Algarve for a slap up meal. For starters I had a mixture of tapas, main was grilled octopus, new potatoes and wilted cabbage, then pushed the boat out with a chocolate cake with ice cream.
Washed down with half a bottle of red wine and a glass of port.
Bg 6.8 before meal, 8.6 2 hours later.

Happy Birthday! Glad you had a good evening and enjoyed yourself, its still important to enjoy lifes occassionas and it seems like you managed it well.
