It's now 6 very short months since my diagnosis. Just back from my review at the doctor's. Thanks to all the lovely people on here, and all your great advice, my results are good.
Hba1c is now 47 (6.5%), blood pressure is normal, cholesterol is normal, and having lost 13 kilos, my BMI is also now normal.
I couldn't be happier, and more importantly, I feel great.
Anyone reading this, please know that the advice on this forum really does work.
Thank you everyone. 🙂🙂🙂

Good Job Adele!...you've obviously worked hard...excellent results.

Brilliant news. Well done

Wow. Well done Adele. I totally agree about this Forum. I was pre-diabetic, got out of it, and unfortunately back in it again. Back to testing and trying to sort myself out again. GP wondering if I am becoming a bit more insulin resistant as I get older (nearly 65). He is very kind but admits they don't have all the answers to this. I am underweight so it is certainly not weight related.

Great results, Adele.🙂

Fabulous Adele ! We both began our diabetes journey at the same time and like you i would have been lost without the forum

Well done you!
