Today I received my 50 years of living with T1 Alan Nabarro medal. I’m still here. Still going strong. After suffering the 70s, 80s and half of the 90s before the technology really kicked in, my complications have all disappeared. It’s a battle to stay 94% in target , but I’m on it. I’m beating all the algorithms. It’s been far from easy but I’m giving myself a pat on the back. I’m aiming for my 60 year medal. Plodding on.
