Hi,

Is it mainly/entirely slanted at Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes?

Hi, The title makes this book look interesting. I did try to check it out on the web. It seems to be about both Type I and Type II but I was unable to find any proper reviews. A friend's father passed 60 years on insulin with no problems. The doctors then decided he ought to go on "human" insulin. Nearly immediately he lost all signs of hypos. A short while later he developed eye problems. He was eventually put back on to animal insulin but his health had declined and he had lost his driving licence. I strongly suspect the decline was due to interference with his regime which had worked well for decades rather than just age! I will try and get a copy when my current reading list has gone down a bit.
