Just had a reminder pop up that it was 5 years ago this month that I switched over from being a forum volunteer mod to being a staff member at DUK as half of the admin role (@Northerner ’s shoes were too enormous for one person to fill them).
How time flies! And how lovely to have continued to see so much support shared so generously, and so many people’s experiences of living with diabetes completely transformed by connecting to others facing the same struggles, disasters, and victories each day.
Thanks to all of you for making this place the welcoming, supportive, and friendly place it is.
And especially to the amazing volunteer mods and hosts, @Anna DUK @Ieva DUK Josh Hannah Cherrelle and others at DUK who work to keep the forum running so smoothly.
