Has anybody read any of the comments that go with this video? OMG!
😱
Loads of "how can replacing a slice of bread with all that fatty cheese be good for you, I'd rather have the bread thanks". And "carbs are good for you, why would you want to cut them out" etc etc. Mostly said in a very condescending way as if anyone even considering reducing carbs must be an idiot. Well I suppose that's what the media lead people to believe these days so maybe it's not that surprising, but funnily enough the only two commenters who had the sense to say that "each to his own, what works for one doesn't work for another" were also the only two that had actually tried a low carb diet and found that it worked!
But there were even people claiming that cauliflower is full of carbs! Er... .???
Since when?! I don't buy cauliflower though because I hate the stuff (although did get some for hubby recently - he's doing a low carb diet to lose weight) so just out of interest I thought I'd check carbs and Cals .
And it gives the following info:
120g of cauli contains: 3g carb, 4g protein, 1g fat, 3g fibre, 0g sat fat.
Which got me thinking... What's the other 109g made of?!?
