3 month review

I posted 3 months ago when I was first diagnosed, levels 117 finger prick 20 . Cholesterol level of 7.9
Well after 3 months of hard work, 1 holiday where everyday I walked past the cakes with my plate of fruit, limit of 3 g&ts a day as Egypt don’t manufacture slimline tonic I can honestly say I’m very proud of myself.
Yesterday I got the results of my 3 month blood test levels 51 and cholesterol level of 5.2
I have also kept my finger pricks between 4.5 and 7.5 I’m so proud of myself I thought I would celebrate with a cake but then thought better of it

😱😱😱 Oh no, not a cruise! My sister does lots of cruises and she always loses half a stone before going so she can eat the endless buffets and tiers of cake! Enjoy! x

The most obscene thing on a cruise we went on was the afternoon Chocolate Buffet. Six, yes six, twelve foot tables filled with every chocolate confection you could imagine and people were filling their plates to over flowing but then leaving half of it, then going back to get something else. Needless to say it was an American cruise line.
