The nutrition for these are worked out using the brands stated, if using different brands please remember to alter the nutrition yourself 🙂
Ingredients
180g Colman's bramley apple sauce
40g Tesco cocoa powder
125g Tesco smooth peanut butter
Optional - cocoa nibs, chocolate chips, nuts etc
Method
Preheat the oven to 175c, in a bowl mix all ingredients until well combined
Fold in any optionals of your choice
Pour into a 3"x8" pan, place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
Allow to cool for 20 minutes or so then place in the fridge to set, the longer the better
Once set, about an hour or so but more if you have the time, cut and serve
This should make 8 brownies, at quantities of brands stated this makes each brownie 8.7g carb and 6.8g sugar xx

Do you have a Waitrose near by? Their Essential Waitrose bramley apple sauce was the lowest carb I came across, the amount needed for this recipe came to 34.56g carb whereas the Colmans totalled 50.4g carb, Also Asda cocoa powder is lower at 3.48g carb for the 40g whereas the Tesco is 7.6g carb, sorry didn't research any different branded peanut butter! The original recipe also says it works well with Almond butter xx

I will be making these. Might try making my own apple sauce for it too. I get whole earth peanut butter. Bought a huge tub of it reduced to clear at Tesco that will last me a year!

Home-made apple sauce is just cooked apples! Use a cooking apple such as Bramley that will "fall" into a puree when cooked, eating apples don't work well. Peel, core, slice and add a little water to stop them sticking at first, cook gently until puree achieved, stirring frequently. Some people add sugar (or sweetener) but not really necessary, I think some add a little butter, I have never tried that.
I wondered once how the commercial brands seemed quite cheap, but then looked at ingredients and was horrified at the low apple content . Lots of fillers, making your own probably much better for you.

Yes I knew this but there are variations with different kinds of spices etc so I just wanted to know if Mark had a tried and tested with quantities recipe xx

They sound delicious and easy to make, I'll be trying them.
