MORE than 27,000 people with diabetes in Wales could be at risk of going blind, a charity will today warn.
Diabetes UK said thousands of people are not having regular screening tests which are designed to help prevent diabetics losing their sight.
Thousands more have not had regular checks for potentially fatal kidney disease or foot problems, which could prevent limbs being amputated.
