My blood sugars really started to creep up on christmas day and considering i now have the pump and was adjusting accordingly i couldnt really work out why , i got up boxing day morning to a bs in the 5's and thought it was sorted , then during the day i felt awful i had a temp (felt tremblely because of it with goosebumps ) felt extremley tired and sick all resulted in going to bed and waking up this morning a whole lot better ,thank godness but havent had hardly anything to eat or drink a bonus for the diabetes i suspose 🙂 Could only have been some sort of 24 hr virus i think .

You might have had a little tummy upset from the rich food served at Christmas and your system struggled but managed to fight it off. Hope your progress carries on today and that you feel much better.

Both my kids have had what you have had,my oldest came down with it yeasteday.He feels really tired with a temp but not much else and my other son had this last week,lasted a bit over a day and then fixed.They don't have diabetes to worry about though,Thank God.
 
Hi Jenny, sorry you haven't been well.
I have just had a 12 hour bout of feeling extremely sick and spaced out too.
I think mine might be due to the fact that I started taking my Metformin, Acarbose and Frusemide again after a naughty 1 whole week of rebelling and not taking any. That will teach me! ...or it could have been a little bug.

Thanks everyone just have a bit of a headache but feel so much better than yesterday 🙂
