A petition containing thousands of signatures opposing the privatisation of any NHS services in Cambridgeshire was presented to health chiefs.
Representatives of the GMB union and Keep Our NHS Public gathered outside a meeting of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group in the South Fens Business Centre, Chatteris, on Tuesday.
The pages of names - which were attached together to form one long document measuring 200ft - were presented to CCG chairman Maureen Donnelly and chief clinical officer Neil Modha.
