Well its been 20 days of rollercoaster emotions but the fog has started to lift and I am now more positive about what lies head - hard work and determination to get this under control and into remission - that is my goal.
Still getting to grips with the blood sugar readings but I know something is working as when I started 20 days ago the first reading in the morning was 20 and today it was 11 - so I will take that and give myself a small pat on the back.
This forum has been amazing so informative so a massive thank you to everyone on here.
Here's to the next 20 days and to get those readings into single digits.

Good luck! 🙂 Great that you are so positive!

Well done @Moso

Glad you have found the forum useful, and well done for ‘delurking‘! 🙂

Keep chipping away at your levels slowly and steadily. While it can be tempting to want to get them down as fast as possible, of they gradually increased over a long period, then suddenly crashing them back down to a non-diabetic range can actually put pressure on the fine blood vessels in the eyes and kidneys, and on the nerve endings. A more gradual change can give your body time to adjust 🙂

Fab start @Moso, you have done really well. Keep at it - it shouldn't be long before you are down to "normal" blood counts.
