Feel a bit teary. I was hoping for a reduction but didn’t necessarily think I'd make it below 40.

No more fatty liver, step 1 towards T2 remission and cholesterol (slightly) reduced at 6.0 (but much improved ratio and labelled as 'normal' on the NHS App).

And the best bit - it doesn't feel hard to eat like this for good. 16:8 fasting and less than 60g carbs each works for me and I'm loving my food!!

Today is a good day. And I am very, very grateful for this forum. I arrived 4 months ago so ashamed and stressed by my diagnosis and the support/advice from here has been fantastic. Thank you!!

That's really great news - well done and thanks for sharing. I know how committed you've been and it's good to see it pay off. Been on the same journey myself so I know exactly how it feels. Really pleased for you.

Many, many congratulations! I am absolutely delighted for you! Massive achievement!
Well done!

@BobbleHat very well done. I was diagnosed in July too. I found your posts so positive. I was enjoying low carb but since September have felt knocked off course by being on an SGLT2 and trying to add carbs. I also have had diarrohea and two weeks of oral steroids. Now on antibiotics for a poorly finger. Have an hba1c due but not a clue where it will in the scheme of things. Last one 51. They've called it my annual review but diabetes nurse off sick so not sure what will happen.
But it is good news when anyone does well.

Congrats @BobbleHat on such good results. It is really good to hear about other people's successes when you are still on the journey to manage BG well. It gives me hope that I can get there too. So happy for you.:hello::party::D

Congratulations! You must be so pleased, and rightly so, with a fantastic achievement!
