So on Sunday I’ve got my first day trip out since diagnosis. I’m going to a country show and will be doing a lot of walking and probably for most of the day. Just wondering on how to tackle my insulin. Should I drop my basal a little for the day and will I need to drop my lunch dose a bit too?

It is hard to tell, especially with this warm weather.
If it was me, I would just take plenty of carbs with me and keep an eye on my Libre.

That’s true. Just looked at the forecast and it should be cooler thankfully . I hate the heat , love the sun just hate it hot. May even have a few showers.

Be careful - and play it not by ear but as helli said - play it by Libre!

It might be worth reducing the Basal a little. The Bolus you can measure as you go and inject accordingly.
