Are you able to view your health record via Patient Access? If so, and if that reading is the result of a blood test, you should be able to see your result and whether 10u/ml is low, normal or high.Hello,
Does anyone understand what having an 1a2 of 10 u/ml means?
That particular test is only done by a limited number of labs which is why they take a while and usually need specialist interpretation. I would contact your doctor not wait for them to contact you as your treatment may depend on the result and the sooner you get the correct treatment the better.Thank you! Sometimes they take a while to get back to you with results!
Not helpful then. Usually these things show a range and then 'normal' or 'abnormal' but if, as @Leadinglights has said, it's a test for T1, along with other antibody and possibly a c-peptide test, that would explain why the results took a while to come back.Hi Martin,
It just says
I might just have to wait on my GP to let me know! It has taken ages for this to come back!
- <10.0 U/mL .
Thank you! Sometimes they take a while to get back to you with results!
