nhs 111 (or was it 101 ?)
end of last year had a sudden burst of floaters in my left eye
after they had gone I was left with a `bubble` which moved with the eye
Gp was closed for `STAFF TRAINING`...waste of time
walkin clinic would probably send me to AE
I know, lets try this 111 thingy
DO NOT PASS GO
GO STRAIGHT TO AE
okidoki
seen in AE and referred upstairs to eye clinic...tomorrow...if it gets worse come back asap
next day at eye clinic, seen by Doc who called consultant who also had a poke and a prod and said its not, much, of a problem. Its like a bulge in a ballon
it will go away/or not
your brain will get used to it
OH NO ITS NOT
70% get it 🙄
Luckily it had not burst, which then can snag on the retina and detach it. surgery then required within 24 to save sight
so I have to keep an `eye` out for flashing lights, dark squares and stuff in the eye and head to AE asap
lifes never dull in wor hoose jimmy
ps might have posted this b4 searched my posts but cant find it if I have
