    Diaversary 6 years

    It's 6 years tomorrow that I got my diabetes diagnoses, given in hospital where I was on IV antibiotics for an infection in my legs (cellulitis).

    Type 1 or Type 2

    Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows how doctors diagnose whether you have Type 1 diabetes as opposed to Type 2 or visa versa. Thanks :)

    Diaversary, 2 years in

    Went in hospital on 1 December (Monday), told diabetic on 10th. Still frustrated and p--- [Edited deleted] with medical profession. How many of you watched the TV show Yes Minister? ("The Minister must know nothing! If he knows he might start thinking for himself.)

    One year aniversary

    It's the one year aniversary of my diagnoses. On the 1st December I went into hospital with an infection (cellulitis, second bout). This is why I was diagnosed. On the 10th I was actually told I'm diabetic. I suspect they'd decided I was by the 4th.
