    Rybelsus side effects

Hi I'm hoping to find others who have been prescribed Rybelsus tablets. I have been on it since June this year starting at 3mg for a month, then 7mg for another month and now I am on the full dose of 14mg. The side effects were awful at first but now I am feeling normal at last. My glucose...

Welcome to the forum, what specifically do you want to know. Your experience may be different to others depending on what other mediation and dietary approach you are using to manage your condition. Also what your Hba1C is will affect how it may work for you.

    En'lighten'ment...Rybelsus.

Hi.i have just started rybelsus.my last attempts induced vicious stomach problems. This last 4 weeks I started off with 3.5 and I was meticulous in taking alone on an empty tum with a sip of water to keep the stuff from getting into the hut. Been on 7mg for 10 days. Still bunged up and unsure...

    En'lighten'ment...Rybelsus.

Glad you've found a system that works for you @MikeF We have had relatively few people on Rybelsus (which became available more recently), but you can look up experiences of Semaglutide or Ozempic which might be interesting. For those that tolerate them, and don't get any stomach upset, they...

    How do you stay motivated?

...stopped insulin in the last 2 weeks since I got an NHS Libre2 and saw I didn't need it. Victoza is in short supply so I have just started a low dose of Rybelsus, which has seemed to stabilised my bloods immensely as I can now see my levels in real time. When.motivation wanes I think of the pain.

...I got to find that I no longer require any insulin and my average a1c is estimated now as 39mmol. I am both thrilled and suspicious about whether the Semaglutude is changing my readings short-term and whether anyone has been using Rybelsus longer than me and what the longer term impact has been.?

Diabetic care in general from gp practice.

...happy with my diabetic meds but I did get on well with Trulicity which I took together with Metformin until it became unavailable so now on Rybelsus I think combined with this is perhaps the reason the DN has seen me more regularly. I have Venous Insufficiency as well as Periphoral...

    Reoccurring problem with Rybelsus 7mg

Alt I am now on 14mg of Rybelsus with no problems, it won't work if you don't take it on an empty stomach. I take mine when I wake and wait an hour before my first coffee, nothing else and not even my other meds which is what the patient information sheet says and take it with no more than...

    Reoccurring problem with Rybelsus 7mg

...suggestion is to go onto injections which doesn't sound suitable for you, given the needle phobia. A few other users have experience with Rybelsus. @Andy84 talks about their symptoms here: https://forum.diabetes.org.uk/boards/threads/hi-and-help.113552/ and, @Annette&Bert has mentioned...

    Before Tea/Evening Meal

Please don’t kick yourself? I actually have respect fo @MikeyBikey & his challenges. I don’t feel this topic is a “competion.” More a dig at our own predicament? Either T1 or T2. (Or any other variation I’m here to learn about?) lol. My evenings due to the working nature of my basal tend to...
