If anyone is looking for a home BP monitor, amazon have the Omron M2 Basic Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor as the Deal of the Day today (£15.99).

I've had one of these for a few years and found it very useful for recording my 'true' BP levels - not the anxiety-inducing white-coat-symdrome readings I get at the surgery! 😱 :D

I had one of those for years northerner and they're excellent. I think it's the meter recommended by the Hypertensive Society or something (remember checking it out at the time). Good price! 🙂
I have the proper Omron upper cuff one now, the M10 which was £44.95. I must admit I also suffer the 'white coat syndrome' so being able to do my own occasionally is very reassuring.

ASDA tend to do this one at £15 or even £10😱

Boots "own brand" ones are actually made by Omron, so we got one of theirs for £25 when the Omron equivalent was £50, I think (can't remember exactly now). Worth looking at their deals if you're a member of the Boots healthclub, they sometimes have things like that half price.
