CBD Gummies

Hi I was wondering if anybody was using CBD in any form not just Gummies which I am thinking of trying. I am worried they may well affect my blood sugars sorry, I have tried them and they do seem to have increased mine despite increasing my insulin, anyone else? experience this and had no problems. Mind you they do not seem to have cured my pains, but maybe need to increase the dose so anybody else’s comments would be welcome

I did try CBD cream, and I think he also sold me a spray of CBD a few years ago
before I had ankle surgery (had surgery in May23)
at the time i was in pain and obviously hobbling a bit I had at the time, had PTOA post trauma osteoarthritis
I’m still unsure if CBD actually helped, but the guy who I know as a good friend and many years ago I was his boss, sold me the stuff and he swears by it
he sells all sorts of supplements from his vape shop, his latest thing is CBD & mushroom coffees
TBH I don’t think for me CGD helped really, and I haven’t tried the coffees

Over the counter CBD is a bit of the Wild West in that it’s under/unregulated and when tested a lot of CBD products have less than the advertised levels of CBD or sometimes zero CBD in them so effects can really vary. Do you think your sugars are impacted by the gummy or the CBD? As others have said there are other delivery methods for CBD so you could try them and experiment. It also depends why you’re taking it and what benefits you hope to get. I have tried patches and they do seem to help my sleep better but I don’t think they do anything for my fibro pain (which is what I hoped for). Proper testing for benefits for fibro has shown no proven effects over placebo so it was a shot a dark anyway.

I find cbd oil drops do help. I suffer nerve damage pain after stroke……. One thing I will say is many high street ones are not so good. I’ve tried a few and the best I found is an online company who filter their and comes in peppermint. Healthspan company I use the 260mg drops not the highest strength as these work for me……. I tried gummy’s but TBH they messed my sugars as when they made there’s so much stuff added to form the gummies it didn’t help.

Yes that’s the stuff I use highly recommend.

Interesting. I suffer from quite a bit of muscle pain due to a lot of back damage in my younger days, funny thing is (not ha ha) it shifts around over time. I've always been sceptical of CBD thinking it does nothing, rightly so it seems, but that's good information.

Hi, I use CBD flower or vape cartridges. So far my sugars have been good (3 months in) my hba1c came down from Sept to Dec, will see what the next hba1c result is 🙂
