Australian Drugs Regulator Knew mRNA Vaccines Can Enter Nucleus and Integrate into Genome Despite Official Denials, Emails Reveal.

Just thought I'd post this here.

Over past 3 months I've noticed that people I know for certain (they told me at the time, where and which vaccine) who had had at least one dose of COVID vaccine have just started saying they didn't have it! It's not just me who has noticed this. Of those that have changed their mind about whether they took it, one of those was as proud as punch at the time as they'd "done their bit for society", for others etc. The others didn't want to take it but felt compelled to take it, employer peer pressure. On the other hand others (who decided against it) have said that not getting it was the best decision they ever made.

I don't think anybody has mentioned vaccines at all to me, apart from my mother and brother (my brother complaining that he didn't qualify this year and complaining about the hassle of arranging a vaccination for my mother).

Otherwise nobody's talking about them, really. Those who still qualify might mention a sore arm or something. Nobody that I know has claimed not to have been vaccinated (and I know of only one person who apparently didn't get vaccinated, apart from my niece who was too young to have been offered one) but it's really not something we talk about at all. My guess is if I asked they'd be slightly surprised that I was asking but still feel happy that they got vaccinated.

Presumably you talk to other people, and perhaps they know of your opinions of vaccines. I wonder what they say to other people (or if they mention vaccines at all to others)?

My mother, my partner and I all qualify for Covid and flu vaccines and all have them every year now as a matter of course. We may be naive but we think it probably does us more good than harm. We have five Degrees (including a PhD) between us and read newspapers (yes, actual print ones!), so hopefully at least one of us would have become aware by now if we were putting our health at serious risk by taking the vaccines rather than by declining them.

I've never asked anybody if they've been vaccinated, not even family. I've always seen it as a personal choice. Nor have I ever made any suggestions (to take or not) to anybody about them. It's down to the individual to make their own decision, hopefully based on the right information not propaganda or misinformation or coercion, cajoling, peer pressure, to go on holiday or fear campaigns.

I do however listen to people, and vaccines, lockdowns and the pandemic are hot topics and people still talk about it today.

OK. Not among people I talk with. It was, years ago. Not now.
Well for many it's hard not to forget. Life has changed substantially. The way we work, travel (less travel), communicate, hold meetings (teams), work from home, hybrid working, no longer having your own desk (hot desking) plus more home deliveries, less visits to the cinema (netflix), telephone appointments the list goes on. All reminders of how it was before. I can think of many occasions (daily) where people have said "we never did this before the pandemic".

You've just listed all the positives to come out of the pandemic. Plus a few that were commonplace before it.

My experience is different. Works been normal since 22. (Even during the “event” it wasn’t a big deal.) Cinema? These days there’s nothing that makes me go “whoah. I wanna see that.” Even the last couple of Star Wars was nonsense. We did go & see Deadpool & Wolverine July last year. A fun frolic with no VS. Was worth the watch. I’ve even managed to get out to watch live bands. One was in a stadium again in 22. We don’t & never had done home deliveries. I normally pick up anything on my way home from work. I’ve travelled for either interviews or appointments as have my wife?

I guess that some good has come out of a terrible situation. For example, as a Clinical Psychologist I had to learn from a standing start in the Pandemic how to do sessions on-line. This means that, now, I can work with people whom I'd never be able to see face-to-face.

Exactly.......its now considered to be a 'routine' infection like influenza and rsv.......remember when there was a government web site that daily listed quantity of infections and deaths?.......these days covid is thrown in with flu and rsv etc.....and its only updated weekly

Its old news now......we have more important things to worry about.......homelessness.....cost of living.....wars......climate change

The chief clown (although he is not wearing the suit just orange make up) has appointed another clown as his health secretary. This clown is anti-vaxx but told a good joke a few days ago "I am going to make Americans healthy again"! The problem is although they have an obesity epidemic worse than ours they were never healthy. 50/60 years ago many were dieing relatively young from the effects of heavy smoking and/or alcohol and/or drug abuse. Just look how many Hollywood stars die young! And we are meant to take him seriously?

Bar when the vaccinations come around nobody I know talks about Covid any more. It just lurks like colds and flu although I know local hospitals are seeing more cases.

The bizarre thing is. I’ve never caught it to date. Never tested positive for it. Had colds, mild flu. Sniffle. This is not in any sense suggesting I’m a denier. I was working with my boss & a younger fitter guy at the time & they both came down with it. The buisness was on my shoulders whilst they were both out? They were still puffing like dray horses out of breath for a while when they came back. Poor beggar on one job asked me how I was feeling, he was suggesting it was a tough job physically. I felt fantastic! We only just started it?
