Move from injections to pump...any thoughts from those who have done same

H @ChrisLG
As you were writing about absorption issues, I thought of you as I read this

As the article mentions, the sample size was small but it could be interesting wrt where to inject (yes, the article talks about pumps but absorption issues maybe the same with injections) and the different insulin profiles.
Interesting and thanks. I was aware of different absorption rates/sites, and have certainly stopped abdominal injections since the delayed carb absorption issue.

Hello @ChrisLG.
Tubeless is best for me and my present system is a Dexcom G6 sensor with a OmniPod 5 pump.

I've not got any negs from this system but I do have one BIG +ve which is the pump can manage my HI's and LO's ie If I head LO my pump suspends my insulin or if I go HI it will learn and add some additional insulin into the control process.

It has substantially improved my insulin control.

Have you got your pump yet?

Best

Thanks. Consultant's letter went to the Insulin Pump Team (at Addenbrooke's...not sure why them) a few days back...so I'm waiting. But the positive comments from the many who've responded, plus my on-going roller-coasting, means it can't come soon enough.
