Hi everyone I had a faulty sensor last weekend. I spoke with someone at Abbott on Saturday and she agreed to replace. No sign yet. Do they usually use Royal Mail or a courier? I am waiting for the post each morning as don't want it taken off elsewhere especially at the moment. Thank you.

I can’t say how quickly they replace faulty sensors but when I place an order it usually takes around five working days to arrive.

I had a replacement issued last Wednesday but it isn't here yet, they say to allow 5 working days, it's generally Parcel Force that deliver them, this will be my 3rd replacement, the last one took under 48 hours, cant remember the first ones time but with the current situation it would be expected to take a little longer xx

I was promised a replacement on Tuesday 17th. The order since then has been shown as "On Hold". I contacted them again yesterday (24th) and was told it would be sent "As soon as possible". A repeat prescription came through within three days, so no problem.

Not replacement but an order I placed on Friday account showing on hold. Mine usally come by Royal Mail in the van.
Last time I ordered about 3 weeks ago it went ws still showing hold, when it had just been delivered.

When Iast ordered my supply, I got all the guff about supply hold ups, until I said I was self funding. The guy’s attitude changed completely. Five sensors on the way, arrived five days later.

I have to ring for a supply this afternoon, I don’t expect any problem. Money talks, it would seem, at Abbott’s.

Mine arrived within about 5 days, but it was still showing as on hold the same day , as the postman delivered.
I ordered 4 in case they stop deliveries. I have one to put on tomorrow.

@Flutterby I've just had an email to say mines has left the warehouse (although just tracked it and its telling me it's at the Parcel Force depot 47.5 miles away) so hopefully it should show up tomorrow, fingers crossed yours isn't too far behind xx

I find the tracking for me does not work.
Just had a text from Parcel Force saying it will be delivered today and should be here between 15:11-16:11 xx

Never had a text from them either. But my normal guy is on the ball , as for some reason on Abbott system, my house number is in a strange place, and no facility to alter. Though he has remembered it is me.

yes but replacements are sent via Parcel Force whereas you've mentioned Royal Mail deliver your Web shop orders xx

I don't mean the post man, it comes by the Royal Mail parcel delivery.

Well the guy turned up 19 minutes before his scheduled hour, received a text 11 minutes later saying that delivery had been attempted and that there would have been a card left giving further details on what to do next, very odd as its sitting on the old computer table! lol xx

Well I looked earlier my account said on hold, then 20 mins ago a white transit van narrowly missed my son's car. I thought it was an Amazon delivery van had a couple come up the road the hour before. There was a knock on the door, it was my sensors. Account now says dispatched , strange.
At least I have my 4 sensors a d expire date July 2021.
