It's one of those incomprehensible things you just have to skate over.

Whats the problem? Just have peanut butter with your breakfast and celery with your lunch.

I actually like celery, either on it's own sprinkled with salt or in a soup.

I agree. The combination of celery and peanut butter doesn't work for me either but celery with cream cheese and chive dip is fine

I luvs peanut butter and celery! It takes all sorts. :D

I like peanut butter and i like celery, but not together. I also like marmite but not together with peanut butter. I lead a very cautious life.

Isn't there something in Leviticus about this?

Cream cheese and celery, yum. Peanut butter with anything, yuk. 🙂🙂

" The Advantages of Celery With Peanut Butter; by Andrea Boldt

Convenient, portable and nutrient-rich snacks can be hard to come by, especially if you're looking for one that pleases kids as well as adults. Celery with peanut butter is one of those rare options. In addition to having just the right combination of crunch and creaminess, it fits most diet plans. The high-quality, unsaturated fat in the peanut butter fills you up while the celery adds no extra calories, carbs or sugars.

You could have omitted the word 'dumb' from your query - that would make for a more respectful way of asking for clarification.

True, but then it wouldn't have been a joke. Of course I'm not calling someone dumb for liking something I don't. Plus it wasn't really a query, more a light hearted observational joke. I guess it's hard to be light hearted in a forum context.

Nothing wrong with light hearted 😉 can be that even without the dumb word 🙂
sometimes a wink and a smile at the end of a statement helps clarify humour

I think most people took it in the light hearted spirit that was intended.
